I am a graduate of St. Augustine School, Archbishop Hoban High School and The University of Akron. I reside in Norton with my husband, Ryan, and three sons. Kyle is in his second year at The Ohio State University, Andrew is in eighth grade, and Matthew is in fourth grade. I was baptized, received First Communion, confirmed, and married here at Saint Augustine, and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to teach in this great parish. Formerly, I worked in the field of sports marketing with The University of Akron Department of Athletics and the Cleveland Indians. I serve as secretary of the St. Augustine Athletic Board. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my boys. I love participating in and watching sports.
This is my seventh year teaching at St. Augustine School, and I couldn't ask for a better place to work! Growing up, I attended Immaculate Conception School in Kenmore, and later went on to graduate from the University of Akron in 2011. I recently graduated from UA with my Master's in Special Education.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, traveling, and reading. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends.
This is my eighth year of teaching and my seventh year at St. Augustine School. I moved to Cleveland a few years ago and taught for another Catholic school briefly. I realized, however, that St. Augustine was the place where I belonged, and I am so grateful for the chance to be back!
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Middle Level Education from the University of Akron in 2011. I proudly acknowledge that I am also a graduate of St. Augustine and St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. I feel that being back at St. Augustine is a wonderful opportunity for me to share all that I have learned throughout my own schooling and to continuously learn from my students. This year I am teaching seventh grade English, religion, and art; and eighth grade English and reading.
In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball, billiards, and fantasy football. I also workout or run when I get the chance. I try to read as much as I possibly can, and I love spending time with my family and friends.
I grew up in Corydon, IN and attended the University of Charleston in West Virginia. While at UC, I earned my Bachelor's of Science degree and played varsity baseball. I have been working in the Cleveland Diocese for over 20 years as both a teacher and an administrator during which time I earned two Master's degrees.
In my free time I enjoy coaching and watching sports as well as traveling. I am married with three daughters and am a parishioner at St. Barnabas Church in Northfield.
