Welcome to Physical Education at St. Augustine! My goal is for all students to enjoy being active by acquiring the skills and knowledge to participate in a variety of sports/games.
I attended Immaculate Heart of Mary in Cuyahoga Falls K-8 and then graduated from St. Vincent St. Mary. I completed my Bachelors in Sports Studies and my Masters in Physical Education from The University of Akron.
I coach basketball at Woodridge High School. I also am a co-founder and currently run Summit Elite, an AAU basketball program in Northeast Ohio.
This is my third year teaching computer at St. Augustine school. I am a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a BSBA in Management Information Systems. I formerly worked for May Department Stores Company as the manager of their Cleveland store’s information department and as a programmer/analyst in their Great Lake’s Data Center in the area of Finance. I then worked for BW Rogers / Tribute as a software support representative, installation coordinator, Alpha/Beta site test manager, quality assurance manager and as a member of their windows package design team.
I reside in Barberton with my husband of twenty five years, Frank and our four children, Krystal, Rachael, Nicole and Michael. Krystal and Rachael are both graduates of St. Augustine School and currently attend Kent State University. Nicole and Michael currently attend St. Augustine School. We are members of St. Augustine parish and I am thankful for the opportunity to share my knowledge and love of computers and technology with the students of our school.
¡Hola! My name is Señorita Schweitzer and this is my 5th year teaching at St. Augustine. This year I teach Spanish and Music. I love teaching at St. Augustine school because of our service-minded community, and it's a privilege to watch our students grow in their faith and their view of the world through what they learn here.
Before coming to St. Augustine, I worked as a translator and Spanish tutor. Studying languages gave me the amazing opportunity to travel to Costa Rica and Germany, and travel remains one of my favorite hobbies. When I am not at school I also enjoy cooking, playing the guitar, signing, rock climbing, biking, running, and coaching Cross Country! Go Bobcats!
